We congratulate our trainees, Lisa Appel, Thea Radke, Kathrin Tholen and Stephan Ites on passing their exams as commercial clerks for forwarding and logistics services!
The success of these students prompted the Chamber of Commerce for East Friesland and Papenburg and the Gesamtverband Verkehrsgewerbe Niedersachsen e.V. (an umbrella organisation for traffic and transport services in Lower Saxony) to present the student's their certificates of merit during a special award ceremony at the EVAG head office.
Next year's trainees are already benefiting from the variety of training options that EVAG and the Schenker Group offer.
For example, Mr. Jan Meyer successfully completed a highly informative 3-month internship at the DB Schenker office in Glasgow, Scotland, and Ms. Catharina Müller joined Arrows Terminals B.V in Vlissingen, Netherlands for three weeks to gain more practical experience.
The stay abroad was a very special experience for both trainees. It provided insights into the daily working life in the two countries and gave both trainees an opportunity to perfect their language skills
